Benefits Administration Manual Training

The Benefits Administration Manual Training  intended audience is newly hired HR Professionals responsible for administering state employee benefits. Participants will learn and understand the fundamentals of administering the health, dental, vision, CoBen, FlexElect Reimbursement Accounts, health and dental cash options, common carrier insurance,group term life insurances, long term disability, retirement processing, COBRA and Savings Plus programs, and Dependent Reverification program.  The learning objectives of the Benefits Administration Manual Training:

  • Explain benefit programs to departmental employees and respond to inquiries.

  • Process benefit changes due to employee permitting events.

  • Identify and resolve common errors in benefits administration.​​
