About HR Net

What is HR Net?

A subscription-based online system to help State human resources professionals access information related to their jobs. Human resources include personnel, labor relations, and other specialties.

What will I find on HR Net?

Timely information, geared for HR. HR Net lets you see pay letters, allocation guides, alternate range criteria, and many other items related to payroll and personnel as they are posted. This information will eventually appear in various public sites, but with HR Net you can access it when you need it.

Searchable data. With HR Net you can search data on pay scales, exempt classifications, and filled positions. Create a report on demand, in real time, using the most up-to-date data available.

Convenient links. HR Net collects all the links HR professionals need in one place and gives you access to the information you need.

Subscription Fees

CalHR charges an annual subscription fee to every facility, location, and department headquarters that uses HR Net. The rate depends on the number of employees.

Number of Employees Annual Subscription Fee

  • 101-500  $800

How to Subscribe

To subscribe to HR Net, send CalHR a check for the current fiscal year, along with a list of authorized users.

Primary Contact

Designate one person on the list as the primary contact. The primary contact will work with CalHR to keep the list of authorized users up to date. We need this person's phone number, email address, and fax number, if available.

We'll notify the primary contact once we receive the check and list of authorized users. At that point, your newly authorized users can register.
