To provide leadership and education in regard to all dimensions of diversity, equity, and inclusion within CA state service in order to achieve equitable work cultures.
The organization accomplishes its mission by:
Continuing CA’s legacy of leadership in civil rights with a workforce that reflects the richness of the State’s diversity to better serve the people of CA.
A network of civil service professionals working together to achieve a diverse workforce, promote an inclusive work environment, and foster equitable outcomes for all State applicants and employees.
Meetings are on the second Thursday of odd-numbered months from 1-3 p.m. DEI meetings are open to all state employees with an interest in furthering DEI efforts in their organization.
