You are invited to attend California’s 175th Birthday Block Party, hosted by California State Parks, on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, in Sacramento.
The block party is from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on 10th Street in front of the California State Capitol’s West Steps. Enjoy music, food trucks, family-friendly activities, and a laser display 30 minutes after sunset commemorating this historic milestone.
This event is open to the public and free to attend. Block party-goers can enjoy free food truck fare, birthday cake, and California-grown treats (while supplies last).
