Pursuant to Government Code Section 11347, the CalHR hereby gives notice that it has decided not to proceed with the rulemaking action published in the California Regulatory Notice Register on August 16, 2024, Register 2024, No. 33-Z. The proposed rulemaking concerned the implementation of a Biweekly Payroll Cycle with the California State Payroll System Project (OAL Notice Z2024-0801-02). The decision is based on procedural errors with the original action, along with additional sections subsequently being identified that need to be included. As such, the CalHR has submitted a complete updated action published April 25, 2025.
