The state is preparing for another significant wind event in Southern California, and the National Weather Service in Los Angeles says extreme fire danger will continue through Wednesday. You and your loved ones should monitor trusted sources of information and be prepared for evacuation warnings and be ready to evacuate, if ordered to do so. To be better prepared, you can visit ready.ca.gov to sign up for alerts, learn what to pack in a ‘Go Bag’, and other helpful information. Even if you don’t live in these areas, doing small things today can make sure you, your family, friends, neighbors and loved ones are safe and cared for when disaster strikes.
