This workshop will unlock the science based evidence of how to learn and provide systems and the means to improve your ability to learn. In today’s competitive and fast-paced environment, it is no longer optional for successful employees to remain stagnant and rely on ineffective methods of learning. Lifelong learning is the new and essential workforce skill. The good news is two-fold. Lifelong learning opportunities are more available, effective, and easier to access than ever before and there is ample solid science based evidence about what works as one seeks to learn and acquire new skills.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Discover several new ways to acquire information and make it stick.
  • Practice new and more effective learning skills.
  • Develop their own learning-to-learn plan for application after the class.
  • Walk away with a competency that is arguably more important than any other individual skill or attribute: learning how to learn.

Intended Audience

Anyone who needs to learn more effectively and efficiently (and increasingly that will be all of us), especially those who may have difficulty retaining new information.
