Excel Basics: Beginning Formulas, Formatting, Printing and Modifying Worksheets.


In Excel Level One, participants will create and edit basic Microsoft Office Excel 2010 worksheets and workbooks. It provides the fundamental knowledge and techniques needed to advance to using more complex Excel features.


Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Create a basic worksheet by using Microsoft Excel 2010
  • Perform calculations in an Excel worksheet
  • Modify an Excel worksheet
  • Modify the appearance of data within a worksheet
  • Manage Excel workbooks
  • Print the content of an Excel worksheet

Intended Audience

This course is designed for relatively new users of Excel or those who wish to expand their abilities to create, edit, format, and print basic Microsoft Office Excel 2010 worksheets, strengthen their day-to-day worksheet production, and use the application to improve performance and productivity.
