CALHR has added new course offerings from our Legal Division House Counsel

 The CalHR Legal House Counsel is comprised of a team of experienced labor and employment attorneys, personnel experts, seasoned investigators and expert trainers who provide support for departments to navigate and address employment issues in the state workplace. These classes are open to State employees in the Executive Branch: 

 Appeals and Grievnaces

 

 

 

 

 

 

In addition to currently established trainings, House Counsel trainers provide customized personnel training tailored to individual department needs that can be presented at your work site.  We also offer one-on-one mentoring for supervisors and HR Staff. To request a customized class, please contact CalHR's Legal Division House Counsel Program at (916) 324-0512.

​Analyst Series Certificate

The Analyst Series was designed by CalHR in conjunction with the Los Rios Community College District to combine tested, strategic methodology with cutting edge ideas and thinking. You will learn the roles, responsibilities and duties of an analyst. The series will develop competencies in the skills and techniques used in researching, organizing, analyzing, documenting, communicating and verifying requirements. The series is comprised of classes that progressively build on your knowledge and skills. 
 
Participants who complete CalHR's approved Analyst training courses will earn the Analyst Series Certificate.
