This full day course is designed to provide participants with a working knowledge of the statutes and regulations which govern the discipline of state employees. The course will focus on the requirements of a legally sufficient Notice of Adverse Action, Rejection on Probation, Non-punitive termination and the basis for Medical Actions. Participants will learn how to write factually sufficient personnel actions and assess a just and proper penalty. The course will also explore hearing and settlement options
