Overview

Training is not the solution to all organizational issues. How can managers know what solutions will get the results they seek? In this interactive session Katrina Kennedy will introduced learners to Human Performance Technology (HPT), which is sometimes called Human Performance Improvement (HPI) or Performance Consulting. These terms all describe a powerful and systematic approach to identifying and analyzing the causes of performance issues and then implementing solutions to achieve real performance improvement in the workplace.

Objectives

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Use a systematic approach to improving job performance through training and non-training solutions.
  • Identify means, methods, and media to implement instructional and non- instructional interventions.
  • Measure the results of performance solutions.
