How do I cancel my registration for classHow do I cancel my registration for class<p>​Please email CalHR at least five business days prior to the commencement of the class to cancel. Cancellation requests must be emailed to <a href="mailto:Training@CalHR.ca.gov">Training@CalHR.ca.gov</a>.  If the cancellation is not received within five business days, the department will be charged the full tuition amount.<br><strong><br>Note: </strong>If you cannot attend a class, CalHR encourages you to send a substitution from your department. </p>

Can we send a substitution for a classCan we send a substitution for a class<p>​Yes. If a substitution is required, please email us at <a href="mailto:Training@CalHR.ca.gov">Training@CalHR.ca.gov</a> as soon as possible. If a substitution requires a reasonable accommodation, and the request is made within three weeks, the Statewide Training Center will do everything it can to provide the accommodation.</p>
What if I miss the classWhat if I miss the class<p>​"No shows" are charged the full price of the class.</p>
How can I be added to a “wait list”How can I be added to a “wait list”<p>​The Statewide Training Center is not currently able to maintain a wait list. </p>
Will I be given a reminder email before the first date of the classWill I be given a reminder email before the first date of the class<p>​After the approver accepts your registration for a class, an email will sent to the student and approver’s email. It is your responsibility to monitor your calendar.</p>

What type of payments are acceptedWhat type of payments are accepted<p>​Purchase Orders / Invoice, Contract, Cal-Card or Check.</p>
When will I be chargedWhen will I be charged<p>​All training, regardless of the payment method, will be invoiced after the Statewide Training Center has reconciled all training sessions for that month. Invoices and charges to Cal-Cards will not be issued/charged until the second week of the following month that the training occurred (i.e., October training sessions will be billed the second week of November). </p>

Do you allow walk insDo you allow walk ins<p>​No, the Statewide Training Center does not allow walk-ins regardless of space in the class. </p>
Will you allow me in if I am lateWill you allow me in if I am late<p>​Under the Statewide Training Center Guidelines, learners who “arrive 15 minutes after the class has (re)convened will not be admitted unless preauthorized by Statewide Learning and Performance Management staff or the instructor. How much lead time does CalHR need to meet reasonable accommodation requestsHow much lead time does CalHR need to meet reasonable accommodation requests<p>The Statewide Training Center requests a minimum of three weeks' notice for reasonable accommodation requests. The Statewide Training Center will do its best to accommodate students within the three week window.</p>

As a rank and file member, can I attend the 80 hour trainingAs a rank and file member, can I attend the 80 hour training<p>​This class is intended for newly appointed supervisors and for those supervisors who desire to take refresher training. This course satisfies part of the requirements <a title="California Government Code Section §§19995.4(b) " href="http://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/codes_displaySection.xhtml?lawCode=GOV&sectionNum=19995.4." target="_blank">California Government Code Section §§19995.4(b)</a> for new supervisor training.</p>
