Dave Rechs

David Rechs is the Assistant Secretary for Innovation and Accountability in the Government Operations Agency.  Dave served in the Governor’s Office to implement the 2012 Government Reorganization Plan.  From 2011 to 2012, Mr. Rechs worked as a project manager to combine the State Personnel Board and the Department of Personnel Administration into the new Department of Human Resources.  From 2007 to 2008, Mr. Rechs served as the Statewide Workforce Planning Coordinator and since 1993 has held a number of supervisory and managerial positions at the Department of Personnel Administration and at the Department of Transportation.  Mr. Rechs graduated from CSU, Sacramento in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Science.
